Biography: Radu was born in Romania, where he lived for 7 years before moving to Australia and finally Atlanta, Georgia. He attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. At Georgia Tech, Radu did research in a variety of topics ranging from microparticles as growth factor delivery agents for stem cells to vertically aligned carbon nanotube supercapacitors. After graduation he worked as an intern at MVA Scientific Consultants as a TEM Analyst with a focus in Titanium Dioxide. Radu currently works on polymer design and synthesis and their subsequent use in biological devices.
